Who we are
TRSNYC Divest is a collaboration between rank-and-file members of the United Federation of Teachers (UFT) and the Professional Staff Congress of the City University of New York (PSC-CUNY). We stand together as public education workers in New York City to call on TRSNYC to divest our retirement funds from all Israeli bonds and securities in solidarity with the Palestinian people.
The Teachers’ Retirement System of the City of New York currently invests over $112,000,000 in Israeli holdings.
